My wife has a show on the Nerdist YouTube channel with her best friend Jessica Merizan! They asked me to come on their show as a favor and teach people (in a very VERY condensed sense) how to do DIY animation in Flash. Arin and Suzy also made an appearance to talk about what they do!

Holly’s Logo
So my wife Holly asked me to do a logo for her personal internet stuff. The entire time I was doing this she was standing behind me breathing down my neck, making me do correction after correction.
The first iteration of her logo went through a lot of development. I kept trying to make it cheeky and devilish but she insisted that it be happy. Which doesn’t really reflect her lovable cynical nature. Anyway, she settled on that then after multiple people telling her exactly what I said, she asked me to make it angry again.
A little later she decides that she no longer likes the logo and now wants me to make a better one with her wearing a space helmet. I kept telling her that I’d do it later, until she literally cornered me and made me do it.
As it stands I believe Holly wants to go with the bottom right logo, the white and blue one. I’m not a graphic designer by any regard, but I just thought I’d share this adventure. Holly does really cool armor and costumes, you can check out her work here.
We met the cast of Doctor Who! My girlfriend Holly Conrad and Jessica Merizan were interviewing the cast as a part of their upcoming Nerdist show “Try This at Home”. Holly dressed in her amazing N7 armor, passed Matt Smith her omni-blade and Arthur Darvill her pistol. Chloe Dykstra of the Nerdist also popped in for the shot, as did Steven Moffat as well! I quietly and awkwardly stood there and tried to have some composure. I felt very wibbly wobbly.
