Over the past month or so, I’ve been slowly building an adventure map on the Guardbreak Minecraft server!  I was building it to host a giant “Live Quest” event, which you can find here.  This 1 hour long video is taken from the perspective of one of the players from the server.  The quest begins at about 7 minutes in.  A few of the players chat here about the event over skype, which I think is hilarious.  I wasn’t on skype though, I was busy planning their destruction.

Rules were:

• No placing blocks, mining or digging.
• Placing dirt is okay, provided it is to get around lava.
• No teleporting back.  Once you’re dead, you’re dead.
• Everyone must work together.

They were given 2 hours prep time and were warned of the dangerous.  Yet there were of course the odd few cry babies who complained that they lost everything they owned…  Stuff they clearly didn’t need to bring.

REGARDLESS, IT WAS BLOODY AWESOME.
